Why Do You Need a Memoir Coach?

Memoir coaching can help you in so many ways. Just the act of writing a memoir creates a witness to your life experience. It says, “I am here, I lived through this, and it is important. This may help you.”

Memoir writing as healing can also be done in a literary style with some attention to craft on the second draft.   A memoir coach can help you with this.

Why You Should  Hire Janell as Your Memoir Coach

Janell is highly qualified to be a memoir coach.  She taught memoir writing at the College of Marin and San Francisco City College. Her own personal memoir was published in 2011, Salt and Paper. Janell has been internationally published from memoir short stories to narrative poems. She realizes that memoir writing can be a healing process and can also put important ideas and experiences into the world.

Janell is available to work as your memoir coach by phone, in-person, or interviewing you, as you tell the story. She can give you the guidance that you can use as a first draft resource.  She can also find you someone to ghost write your story for a finding fee.
